Order website

Employees at Aarhus University who work with research, projects, conferences, workshops and similar can request to have a website made.

We recommend that you initially discuss your idea with a management representative from your department and a person in charge of websites at the faculty.

Location of the website:

  • Websites for research projects are created under the department's website.
  • Websites for research collaborations are created under the department's website, or alternatively under Project.au.dk, in cases where English is the standard language.
  • Conference websites are created under konferencer.au.dk/conferences.au.dk.
  • A website for a centre will be placed under the department's website in the same way as a project site. In the case of a larger – or interdisciplinary – centre, an independent domain can in special circumstances be set-up for the centre. This must be approved by the head of secretariat / department head and a person in charge of websites at the faculty. The name must also be approved by AU IT.

In cases where you have a large flow of news or events, it is possible to set-up a news or events feed on your page.

To have a website made, you must first submit a request using the form below.

Once a website is created, you undertake to maintain and update the site regularly. This can be systematised by a person responsible for web at the faculty.

In order to fill in the application request form, the following questions must be answered:

  • What type of page is most relevant?
  • What is the purpose of the webpage?
  • Who are your target group? Who is the page directed towards?
  • Who is responsible for updating, and who is responsible for the content?
  • What language will be the standard language – Danish or English? (This cannot be altered).
  • What name must be included in the page URL?

On the website, you must state which department a centre is affiliated to.

There may be special rules for the location of external logos. In this case you should consult a web assistant from the faculty.
