Behaviour maps

Behaviour maps (click maps) give you a clear visual overview of what people click on your pages. Do visitors perceive the focus area as clickable? And do they even notice the collection of links you’ve placed at the bottom of the page?

Contact your websupport to set up a behaviour map on your homepage or another important landing page. Depending on the volume of visitors to your site, it can take from two days to two months to capture a representative pattern of clicks.

We use the behaviour map feature in Siteimprove. Across AU, we can have up to 500 behaviour maps running simultaneously, so use this feature wisely and remember to delete behaviour maps that are no longer relevant.
