Here, you get an overview of the rules and guidelines that content on websites affiliated with Aarhus University must adhere to.

It is important that you have a general understanding of what the responsibilities of a web editor entail. These responsibilities are divided into three areas:

• Web Accessibility
• Copyright
• GDPR for Websites

This doesn’t mean you need to memorize legal texts, but it does mean you should be able to find the relevant guidelines and contact your web support if you have any doubts.

Additionally, we recommend that you stay updated as an editor:

• Read the AU TYPO3 newsletter, which you automatically receive in your inbox.
• Sign up for webinars or watch recordings.
• Search and review the guidelines.
• Watch the video introduction to TYPO3, videos if you haven’t already. The first one covers, among other things, your responsibilities as an editor.
