Siteimprove-plugin in TYPO3

Siteimprove is integrated directly into TYPO3's backend, allowing you to view Siteimprove reports for both content elements and entire sites directly from TYPO3.

You can only see Siteimprove for the sites you normally have access to in Siteimprove. If you are missing access to a site, then contact your local websupport.

How to access Siteimprove in TYPO3:

  • Log in toTYPO3.
  1. Then click on the icon on the right side of your TYPO3 backend.
  2. Log in to your Siteimprove account.

You can now see the number of issues for the page you are on by looking at the Siteimprove icon on the right side. Click the icon to open the window.

'This page'

When you are on the 'This Page' tab, you can use the dropdown menu at the top to choose from the following options:

  1. 'Content Issues,' which summarizes the problems on the page,
  2. 'Page Analytics,' which displays the page's analytics, or
  3. 'SEO,' which shows the SEO issues on the page.

'Site Summary' and 'Historical Overview'

You can also choose to switch to the 'Site Summary' tab. This will give you an analysis of the entire site. The 'My Historical Overview' tab provides a summary of the site checks you have previously conducted directly from Siteimprove in TYPO3.

Effect of Unpublishing

At the top of the page, you can click on 'Effect of Unpublishing'. A list of pages that link to your page will now be displayed. This allows you to determine whether you can unpublish the page without affecting other referring pages.

Setup

Under 'Setup,' you can choose what you want to be displayed in your Siteimprove component in TYPO3. You can also select where you want the Siteimprove icon to be positioned on the screen.
